Lizzie McGuire is a Disney Channel Original Series that aired from January 12, 2001, until February 14, 2004, for a total of two seasons. Its target demographic was preteens and adolescents.

Production[]

The series was created by Terri Minsky. The show's working title was What's Lizzie Thinking before being changed to Lizzie McGuire. The show's producer Stan Rogow says the visual look of the show was partly inspired by Run Lola Run. Production was completed in June 2002 after the show fulfilled its 64 episode order.

Plot[]

The show is about growing up, in the beginning Lizzie and Miranda buy their first bras. And towards the series ending they will be saying good bye to their Junior school. Matt, Lizzie's little bro, played by Jake Thomas is hilarious. He makes Lizzie's life seem worse than it really is. Kate Sanders, played by Ashley Briaullt, makes her school and sometimes personal life seem like hell.
